APNSD! Extra – Aaron Lopresti Interview Bonus Features

Hey, gang!

I wanted to do something a little bit special as part of my DC/Hanna-Barbera series of interviews so an accompanying blog post will be created for the episodes featuring a Hanna-Barbera Beyond creator where I will be including some exclusive goodies, provided by each individual interviewee, when their episodes air.

For episode 27 of the show I interviewed Future Quest and Future Quest Presents artist, Aaron Lopresti, who was kind enough to share some design sketches and cover pencils from the Future Quest Presents series.

They are an interesting behind-the-scenes peek and, as a fan of the series, I was really pleased to get a chance to see some of this process material. Here’s a statement from Aaron himself introducing the images seen below:

Thanks again for having me on your podcast.  Here is the rough and the finished pencil art to the cover of FQP #9.  Also the design sketches for the villain and the pencils to the first splash page from #9.

And, if you haven’t had a chance to listen to the interview yet, you can get up to date by clicking on the embedded links below:
