This just arrived today via courier! I was excited to see that Amazon in Canada has seasons one and two for $11 and $13, respectively. Since I already had S2 sent to me by WB publicity back in the day, I grabbed S1 and finally completed my set.

Interesting news that The Hex Girls will be getting their own YA novel this fall courtesy of Random House Books for Young Readers and author, Lily Meade.
Clearly following in the footsteps of the Daphne & Velma books from a few years ago, this story will centre on the character of Thorn who moves to Coolsville with bandmates Luna and Dusk. They’re looking for a fresh start after a series of events left their hometown, and Thorn’s reputation, in shambles. Things take a turn for the worse, though, when a mysterious mist starts killing crops and making people sick wherever Thorn goes.
The book will be written by Lily Meade whose previously novel, The Shadow Sister, was released bv Sourcebooks Fire Publishing in 2023.

That’s right, gang. Hot off of the heels of the first twelve-issue Batman & Scooby-Doo mini-series DC Comics has announced that fans will be getting another caped mystery adventure starring the world’s greatest detective and everyon’s favourite mystery-solving teens. Slated for an October release, The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries #1 will feature a strange mystery that pulls the dynamic duo, the Batmen of All Nations, Scooby, and the rest of the gang into a jet-setting race to some of the most haunted places on Earth. And as if that wasn’t chilling enough, that trail also leads straight to Ra’s al Ghul and his League of Assassins!
If you enjoyed the first mini-series you will for sure want to pick up this second go-around which will be, once again, written by longtime Scooby writers Sholly Fisch and Ivan Cohen and feature the artistic talents of Dario Brizuela.

SCOOBY APOCALYPSE #7 (DC Comics)
Scooby Apocalypse number seven, “The (Not-So) Great Escape”, kicks off with the gang still disappointingly trapped in the bowels of the Mall-Mart, exactly where we left off with them last issue. The first few pages are weirdly consumed with this whole thing about Shaggy having drank too much ginger beer and needing to go to the bathroom. It’s all banter and pee jokes which, ultimately, plays out really weirdly when it’s decided that Shaggy should just get it over with and the whole thing seems to happen instantaneously between two panels with no sense of any time passing, only some dialogue to imply that it had.
And just to make matters even more confounding, for the amount of ink that was dedicated to this gag exchange, it’s left here and never brought up again. Literally just there to be there and…maybe filler?
